I might not be on for a while. Southern California wildfires and evacuations, ya know.

I hope everything turns out okay. So far, the part of Escondido I live in hasn't been evacuated yet but other parts of the city have caught fire and been evacuated. The Cocos fire has me worried the most.

Any new news about the fire? Well, wind conditions died down a bit but it says the Cocos fire is only about 10% contained. The sky is still blue where I live so I'm not too worried. San Marcos (a neighboring city) is just filled with smoke, ash and fire, though (I've seen it on the news).

Any new news about the fire? The fires have pretty much died down thanks to firefighters. I never even had to evacuate because the fire never even got to the part of Escondido where I live. I've yet to see the charred areas of San Marcos, I'll probably be going there tomorrow with my job coach. Most of the San Diego county fires are 100% or close to 100% contained. But the fact that this happened in May worries me. Wildfire season in California normally happens around September or October. Oh well, besides these fires, there hasn't been any major fires since the 2007 Witch Creek fire in October. My mom's ranch property nearly came close to burning in that one back when I used to live in Ramona but didn't.
